Vasse Felix Chardonnay
Vasse Felix is the founding winery of the Margaret River wine region, established in 1967 by Dr Tom Cullity, a pivotal figure in proving that this far south corner of Western Australia could make world-class wines. Chardonnay quickly became one of the region’s standout varieties alongside Cabernet Sauvignon. A large portion of Vasse Felix’s Chardonnay fruit comes from the heritage Gingin clone, known in Margaret River for its small bunches and intense fruit flavour with natural acidity. If you’re exploring Australian Chardonnay, Vasse Felix’s expression is a great lens through which to experience Margaret River’s unique climate, maritime influence, and elegant yet powerful white wine style. Bright citrus, good body and creamy French Oak characters.
