Warren Gibson and Lorraine Leheny are the founders and owners of the Bilancia wine brand that produces mainly Syrah and Chardonnay. In addition to owning Bilancia, they also own an amazing piece of hillside dirt overlooking the Gimblett Gravels in Hawke’s Bay. Looking at the steepness and complexity of this vineyard would make you think they are mad however it is this vineyard, La Collina, (the hill in Italian) where they source the fruit for their amazingly powerful and complex La Collina Syrah and Tiratore Chardonnay.
