Vignoble Brisebarre Vouvray Sec

The Vouvray appellation has a rich winemaking history, and its wines are celebrated for their quality and ability to reflect their place, making it a significant player in the world of fine wines. Made using Chenin Blanc grapes grown in limestone and clay soils the wines have incredible character and aging potential. “Sec” is on the label signifying the wine is dry however the roundness of the wine suggest that the fruit was ripe and ready

Brisebarre is a 25 hectare estate where the cellar, like so many others in the region, is cut straight into the soft limestone cliffs. The vineyards surrounding the winery are farmed with consideration to the generations to come who will inherit the land. They really “think before they do!”

We find this Chenin Blanc foral white with notes of braeburn apple and a round texture with hints of almond and fennel. A gentle, succulent mouthfeel and a dry finish.
