The Black Chook Sparkling Shiraz NV

Ok, work with us on this one as this is one of the more strange wines that we have included in our selections. Sparking Shiraz is a real thing in Australia. That's right, this is Shiraz red wine that has been bottle fermented to become a sparkling wine. It is therefore best served chilled as well.

Sparkling Shiraz is unique to this country where they have taken something they do very well, Shiraz, and in typical Aussie fashion added a different dimension to it. This is a wine that should not be taken too seriously. It’s fun and different. Rich and luscious, with loads of red fruits and a sweetness that just makes it so very gluggable.

Enjoy it at the start of the evening or with dessert. Works either way for us!!
