Tenuta Corte Giacobbe, Ronca Monte Calvarina Soave

We at 495 Wine Select have a soft spot for the wines of Soave. We can just imagine ourselves enjoying them in the plaza in the Italian sunshine watching people go by. The Garganega grapes that make these wines have an amazing approachability and therefore drinkability. These grapes are grown on the slopes of the extinct volcano, Calvarina in the hills around the city of Verona.

The Dal Cero family have been making wines in this area since after the First World War. The expectations of drinkability, taste and flavour are central values for the family and they use wine as a way of communicating and reaching out to people.

The wine shows fragrant fruit and floral aromas on a crisp plate. Delicious with fresh fish and other seafood.
