Paritua Stone Paddock Cabernet Franc

Paritua is consistenly making some of the best red wine in Hawke’s Bay. The wines are always packed with flavour and approachability. Winemaker Jason Stent definitely has a style that he makes that appeals to lovers of richer red wines. The name Paritua refers to the meandering stream that runs through the property.

The Stone Paddock range of wines are those wines that are made every year from this single vineyard site. Cabernet Franc from the Bridge Pa area where this vineyard can be found, has the distinctively fragrant aromatics of the variety with intensity and concentration, while still maintaining freshness in the wine. This is not a huge wine, rather it is elegant and perfumed and one that can be enjoyed any time with a meal of grilled red meat or a great cheese burger!
