Mitolo “The Jester” Cabernet Sauvignon

If you like full bodied red wines, but don't necessarily want all the oak and grippy tannin that can often come with Cabernet Sauvignon, then this is a great bottle to snap up. No decanting necessary with this moreish drop. Just pour and your cup may just floweth over because this is a terrifically approachable, sumptuous, satisfying Cabernet that's ready to enjoy right away.

Mitolo winery has their ancestral roots in the Abruzzo region of Italy, and their modern trunk firmly planted in Australia’s McLaren Vale. The take their Italian region’s motto with them into their contemporary winemaking: “strong and gentle.” That pretty much sums up the style of this Cabernet Sauvignon, which is one of the two varieties these guys pride themsleves on specializing. (The other being, no surprise, Shiraz.)
