McManis Petite Sirah

Petite Sirah (also known as Durif) is a grape variety known for producing bold, full-bodied wines with intense colour, high tannins and rich, concentrated flavours. The variety is a hybrid of Syrah and Peloursin, both Rhone Valley, France varieties. It excels in various parts of California, where the warm climate allows it to ripen fully and develop its characteristic depth and richness.

For the McManis Family, Petite Sirah is sourced from their vineyards in the Central Valley, a region known for its fertile soils and ideal conditions for growing rich, fruit-forward wines. The winery follows modern winemaking techniques that highlight the natural intensity of the Petit Sirah grape while maintaining balance and smoothness in the finished wine.

This is big, rich and full bodied wine, not for the faint hearted. Enjoy it with a T-bone steak.
