Marc Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon

It’s not often we can include a wine from California in our selections as most of their wines are consumed within the vast US market and very little of it is exported. Cabernet Sauvignon dominates here and with this friendly little number you can see why. The rich and seductive nature of the wine is always a crowd pleaser for those who enjoy more obvious, bold wines. There is no subtlety here. It is robust and full on! Enjoy it with some heart red meat. It will not disappoint.

Marc Cellars are a larger producer who do see some value in showing the quality of their wines to more markets around the world. It’s a real shame that more do not; as California make some of the most exciting wines in the world, albeit often with an eye-watering price tag.

This Cabernet is deeply coloured with black cherry and dark chocolate flavours, accented by a subtle smokiness.
