Mahi Chardonnay

Fruit selected from great vineyards and lovingly hand crafted into an extremely drinkable wine. Mahi means “our work, our craft” and these guys work really hard in the vineyard on the quality of the fruit and to ensure that the wines are the best expression of those sites. The result is a delicious chardonnay perfect for enjoying with roast chicken.

Brian Bicknell is the owner and the brains behind the Mahi label. He is also one of the true characters of the NZ wine industry and if you ever get a chance to spend time with him make sure you have allowed enough time to get through the rest of your day! You will also have sore tummy muscles from all the laughing. Having spent close to 30 years making wine in various countries all over the world, Brian and his team are well equipped to make a Chardonnay that ticks all the boxes.

This wine is a complex, textural wine that exhibits a slight creaminess, yet still retains acidity giving length and freshness.
