Land of Saints Cabernet Sauvignon

Stunning, honest, expressive, single vineyard Santa Barbara Cabernet Sauvignon from the Happy Canyon AVA (yes, that is the official name of the growing area). This isn't your typical clunky chunky California Cab. Choosing grapes from specially chosen higher elevation (ie cooler) sites gives this Cab style, finesse and freshness.

Three people–Cornish, Kiwi and Mexican-American–all meet in California and decide to make fantastic wine. This sounds like the beginning of a great story, right? Well it is.
Land of Saints is a collaboartive wine project between three friends, all winemakers, who each carry their own cultural heritage proudly with them, and who each deeply love the land, the vines, the sun and the sense of place of their home, Santa Barbara, California.

If you’ve ever been to Santa Barbara county, California, and remember some of the place names, you might understand part of where the Land Of Saints wine company got its moniker. Even Santa Barbara bears a saintly title! But the name also comes from an old reference to Cornwall (where winemaker Jason Osbourne is from) as the Land of Saints.

On the chance that you were wondering, excatly and only 971 cases of this wine were made.
