La Grande Colombe, Vielle Vignes, Chardonnay

This is very easy drinking Chardonnay. It has some oak influence and enough body weight that will please our more traditional Chardonnay drinkers but it still has a freshness that stops it being over powering. Perfect with that freshly caught crayfish cooked on the BBQ with garlic butter. Yum!

Vielle Vignes refers to the old vines grown in the south of France that have been used to craft this wine. It reflects the region’s warm, sunny climate, which allows the grapes to ripen fully, while the old vines contribute depth and complexity to the wine’s character.

La Vins de La Grande Colombe is a winery situated in the Languedoc region and is know for producing high quality wines that are a product of diverse growing conditions of the region.
