Chateau Belingard Bergerac Blanc
Bergerac. Overshadowed neighbour to Bordeaux, and home to some of the best value wines in France—if you know what to look for. Though the region is well-known (if you can say it’s well-known at all) for its red wines, white grapes are also an important part of the vineyard plantings. And just as in Bordeaux, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon are both important varieties here. Fresh, aromatic, elegant, citrusy, and dry, this is a fraction of the price you would pay for classic Bordeaux Blanc, coming from a 7-generation winery whose whole MO is quality and unique expression of place.
