Quita Do Crasto “Superior” Red
The name Crasto comes from the Latin castrum meaning “Roman fort”. The property has wine making heritage dating back to 1615. In the early 20th century, Quinta do Crasto was bought by Constantino de Almeida, founder of the renowned Constantino wine house dedicated to the production and export of Port wine and brandy as well. The Estate changed hands once again in the early 1980’s and the Roquette family have four gentrations evoloving the estate from Port only to premium red, white wines and olive oils.
Deep purple in colour. The nose shows wild fruit aromas and fine spice. Drink now to enjoy the fresh fruit on show, good cellarablity will kind to the textured tannin
