Craggy Range Rosé

Sweet berried fruit sitting harmoniously with textural acidity. The finish is long and most importantly dry, so a great pale food friendly Rosé to ensure you constantly seek a second glass.

Hawke’s Bay is renowned for the production of full-bodied red wines made with classic Bordeaux varietals, including Merlot. Hawkes Bay has 975 hectares of the Merlot planted out of the New Zealand total of 1077. It can be challenging in the climate but drier, wamer years deliver fleshy, flavoursome wines that enjoy success in carefully chosen sites.

This Rosé is 100 % Merlot from individual parcels from various Craggy Range Hawkes Bay vineyards from a warm Spring and Summer growing season.

The wine ranges from pale salmon to a rosy hue. Fragrant orange blossom, wild strawberry and fresh lavender all are prominent on the nose. Such a delicious and versatile option, try it with a mild spiced Indonesian / Malaysian style curry?
