Côtes du Rhône, Domaines des Pasquiers

Red blends from Rhône Valley always prove to be a trusty and reliable steed. Great value in this drink now 75% Grenache + 25% Syrah blend. The nose is very aromatic with intense red fruit aromas, followed by a hint of liquorice and pepper.

Four generations of winegrowers have succeeded on this estate since 1935. The Lambert brothers took over the Domaine des Pasquiers in 1998 created by their grandfather and have converted to organics for all appleations in Côtes du Rhône, Plan de Dieu, Sablet and Gigondas.

20-year-old vines have a good low yields, thus ensuring a beautiful concentration of aromas. We like this blend with a simple stir fry, that liquorice lift really goes with cinamon or star anise in a dark sticky sauce.
