Chalk Hill, Russian River Chardonnay

Located in the world-renown Sonoma wine region of California, they say no other winery captures the casual luxury of Sonoma County better than Chalk Hill. The name Chalk Hill comes from the unique volcanic soil of chalky white ash, which is a near perfect match for the planting of white wine varietals, like this sophisticated and gorgeous Chardonnay.

The Chalk Hill winery in Healdsburg, in Sonoma County is one of the high profile wineries in the Foley Family group. Established by Fred Furth who purchased the home property in 1972, Chalk Hill grew to produce Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah. William Foley purchased the operation in 2010 and has continued the production of acclaimed wine. The Sonoma Coast Chardonnay includes fruit from vineyards throughout Sonoma County, primarily from the Foley Family estate vineyards.

Packed with delectable, classic flavours from the prized area of Sonoma Coast, this is made with 100% malolactic (buttery) fermentation and a good amount of new oak. The result offers a vanilla and lemon curd – creamy mouthfeel. This is top notch full favour Califoranina Chardonnay satisfaction.
