Bilancia Syrah
The word Bilancia come from the Italian language meaning balance, harmony and equilibrium. All of these are very apt when describing Gibson’s wines (or his personality). More widely known for producing the wines of Trinity Hill and now consulting on the wines from Smith & Sheth and The Landing, Gibson has a knack for producing incredible Syrah wines from vineyards found on steep hillsides as well as old riverbed gravel. Either way, his wines are concentrated without being overpowering, fragrant and perfumed with enough edge on them to make sure that they last for a long period of time. Like the name, they have great balance.
