The Landing Rose

Rose from an exciting newish producer in the far north of New Zealand. The Landing is a producer to watch due to the quality of the wines being released. Fresh and fruity, perfect for that lunch time drink.

The landing is a new project begun by Peter Cooper on a peninsula at the northern mouth of the Bay of Islands. It takes its name from being the place where the earliest Maori and European settlers to New Zealand made landfall establishing the first multi-cultural settlement. The Reverend Samuel Marsden is believed to have planted New Zealand’s first grapevines here in 1819. This Rose is dry, crisp and salivating. It is not a heavy wine but appeals with its poise and elegance.
