Selection Massale Pinot Noir

Pinot Noir from Central Otago is a wine style that has been celebrated on a world stage and some of the great wines of the world made with this variety come from this region. Its climate, geography and people all combine to make some truely distinctive wines that have resonated with Pinot drinkers. Youthful and approachable now, though will continue to gain complexity over the next 2-3 years.

Massale Selection is a French term referring to the practice of using exceptional established vineyard cuttings to plant in new vineyards. This way the characteristics of the great vineyards are transferred to the new site. In this case the certified organic vineyard is situated in the Bendigo sub-region.

This wine has all the characteristics of great Central Pinot. It is plush and fruit forward with hints of Morello cherry and cacao and has a soft and supple mouthfeel. Try it chilled while its still young and fresh…
