Scout Wines Pinot Gris

To question and observe, search and find a new way forward. Sounds like the human experience, a bit, doesn't it? This is also the philosophy of Scout Wines. A small and young wine project, but producing some very cool and noteworthy wines. This Pinot Gris is a bit of a head-turner in all the most delicious ways.

Sometimes Kiwis and Aussies can do pretty great things together. Take Scout Wines for example. Sarah Adamson and Greg Lane, both passionate winemakers (and partners in life) from oppostie sides of the ditch, have both individually traveled the world to learn, taste, oberserve and create wine. In 2017 they started their own Scout brand, with an aim to incorporate what they’d learned along the road and in turn, to be as authentic as possible in their own winemaking. These two make wines with a respect for the variety, a respect for the region but also with an understanding that sometimes it’s time for old rules to be broken so something better can be achieved. This Pinot Gris walks the line between classic and something even better. A fresh take that will leave you salivating for another sip.
