Quinta de Pacos, Reserva Alvarinho

Alvarinho(Portuguese) which is the same as Albariño(Spanish). This is the real deal with some bottle age - racy citrus, ripe and juicy stone fruits, honey, jasmine and that sea salt finish.

Quinta de Paços is one of the oldest wine producing houses in the Monção / Mazedo region. It has been in the same family for at least 16 generations!

Fermented in stainless steel, with the wine remaining on the fine lees with batonnage. The wine is aged in the bottle for 6 months. This recipe deliveres complex and intense aromas of candied orange, Oolong tea and the salinity from the considerable vine age.

This wine should be joined at the hip with fresh plump oysters and some salty green olives. Delicious!!
