Atma Red, Xinomavro and Mandilaria

This wine is a mix of the Xinomavro and Mandilaria grape varieties. Ximomavro is known for its high acidity, firm tannins and complex aromas, often with notes of red fruits, herbs, and earthy qualities. Mandilaria is one of Greece’s oldest varieties. It provides deep colour and big bold flavours.

The winemaker behind this wine has one of the best names in the business. Apostolos Thymopoulos is a highly regarded Greek winemaker known for his dedication to producing high-quality wines that showcase the unique terroir of Northern Greece, particularly the Naoussa wine region in Macedonia. Thymopoulos is part of a younger generation of winemakers in Greece who are revitalising the country’s wine industry by focusing on quality and modern techniques, while still honouring the history and heritage of Greek winemaking.
